~Junk Finds, Packed & Stacked & Junk Booth Re-do!~

Boy has it ever been a CRAZY busy week at the booth..... We had a little excitement in a phone call saying a customer was wanting to purchase me and my neighbors entire booth... all of it, every last piece!!!! Well don't get too overly excited.... after all the hard work of inventorying every last piece guess who never showed back up!!! Yep unbelievable!! But its ok, every once in a while we all need a little excitement, right!! What a story it would have been!
~ I did find an awesome find at the Sleepy Poet the day after this post.... the best Chippy White Dresser ever!!! However I had to leave it in storage there after I purchased it, as you can see from the pics , NO room in the garage!! I will have to nab a pic of it for you all to see!!

I did score a few cute little pieces of good Junk this week, the little chippy desk I love, it still has the fabulous old original turquoise paint hid underneath, I think I am going to expose this a bit, maybe alot with a coat of stain and it will be ready for the Poet!! I am kinda thinking I love the Old Metal Lamp I found, may need to keep it!!

I just had to let you all see that Sanford & Sons is still alive and well!!! Notice that stuff is now OUTSIDE the garage, the neighbors will be talking about me for sure, pretty sad when someone in the neighborhood has a Yard Sale and cars pull in my drive..... only thing is I am not the one havong the Yard Sale! I think I am embarrassed!!

Chippy Funky Junk.... Just as I got it arranged the old Barbers table Sold!!

These Red and White old metal #'s have been the hot item of the week, I think I have 3 left, $13.95 each. These are the big ones!!

Cute little metal table was a parking lot Poet purchase.... Yep I love it when they do curbside sales, right place right time!! I picked up two of those little cuties... However chippy little childs desk on top SOLD that day from my booth!!

Got the Turquoise Cupboard in the booth.... but it SOLD the next day!! I was sad to see this piece go... I think I was in chippy LOVE!!

Notice anything missing??? The big chippy grain bin!! Sue from Junkmarket Syle must have brought the kiss of the good luck with her when she stopped in because after her visit sales have been soaring!!

" Such a Blessing to Me", this plate truly reflects how I feel. Just being able to be fortunate enough to be able to do the things I love!! God is Good! Blessings to you all! Janna

Ha! I love your 'not-a-yard-sale' story. I too embarrassingly have people stop and ask if I am having one. But we gotta put the good stuff somewhere so we can clean, repair, paint, price and enjoy it for awhile.

Glad things are flying out of your booth for ya!

Best,
Lisa

You have some great stuff!! I'd love to come shopping in your booth. Well, shopping online with you is almost as much fun as being there. Thanks for the treasures I found with you so far.

Your not alone in the "not-a-yard-sale" story. It happens to us all the time! See lots of things that I'd love to have!

I feel your pain with the yard sale story. The funny part is when I'm setting up a little vignette in the driveway to take pictures for the blog. Your booth looks great. Jan

Laughing. There have been many times I've had stuff in my drive and I know my neighbors were grumbling. Actually, for the last two days I've had a down filled chair and loveseat sitting out there baking in the hot sun to remove their "vintage scent" after fabreezing. I had to run errands a few times and left them out, fearing the entire time a neighbor might call a charity truck to come pick them up!! lol. Thank goodness they are almost ready to come inside.

Happy to hear Princess Sue waved her junk wand over your booth! I know she was VERY impressed with your space.
Take care,
Candy - AKA Junk Sophisticate

Just because they didn't come back doesn't mean it won't happen sometime. My goal is to be sitting in an empty tent in a lawn chair by a beer cooler at the end of a show. We can dream can't we?
Girl, I know what you mean. I keep expecting Salvation Army to set up coffee and donuts in my front yard!
We pulled up at a GW last week and one of the guys came out to see if we were "donating" what was in the truck!
Great stuff you've found as usual.

Gosh, looks like you can't PARK inside that garage - looks FAMILIAR! How's the hub handling that? Hopefully better than mine is.
