~Not Alot to Say...but alot of JUNK Pics~

This is a quickie of a post.... dinner is cooking on the stove! I created a 3rd ( I have lost my mind) new booth over at The Depot. Just a few pics of my booths in progress along with some fabulous pics of our Depot Vendors! I have also posted more Gallery pics of all this great JUNK on our Depot website, just click above on Depot or heck click this one! Thanks to my friend aka. My Assistant Manager Rachel for the scripture on my big old grey door.....

Now.... if I can just sell that old chippy too die for baby crib then maybe a shopper could get into my new booth....any takers only $105!! It has the best chippy green paint ever!

Is this not a Gorgeous booth.... Ms Susan has one of the best around! And her Southern accent is the best, just imagine the movie Steel Magnolias, thats her!!

Ms Susan's feedsack pillows are Grand... she handmakes everyone of them. Heck if I had time to make my bed that Malt pillow would be a perfect fit!

~North Carolina JUNK...we got it!~

I hit the Junk trail early this morning to make a few deliveries and pay a few visits on my day off.... It did not take me long for the JUNK to start oooozing out of my packed car!! I had intentions of being back home in 3 hours (yeah right)... well that quickly turned into 7 hours of JUNK COLLECTING! I decided to pass on the Big Antique Expo that everyone came to town for, in return I hit the little shops out in the middle of no where land that no one knows about (and I did not know about until today)! Keep in mind I spent a whopping $126 bucks on this load of goodies! The pics are quickies, I am sooo embarrased to pull it all out in the drive, I know the neighbors think I am a nutcase! Not only does she hoard it but now she is taking pics of it all, I can hear them now!!

Those Old Signs... I am in LOVE with them all.... keep or sell??? Tough decision!

Little Chippy stool...a must have!

This was not a today find .....but is this a great old sign or what??? Yep from the Sleepy Poet. It is still in the garage because it weights a zillion pounds, no dragging this baby out for the pics!! She stands about 5 ft tall!

OMG...loads of old numbers.... the little on man on the side of the road gave them to me for a steal!!

And more #'s and signs... I think I may have to pay him another visit. You know I got 30 mins down the road and wished I had not left a few of them behind, does this happen to you?

~LOOK what Junk Your Missing~

It has been a while I know.... between working and working my booths this is all the new JUNK I have to throw out at ya! I wish I had the spunk to have some cute Fall or Halloween decor but I just can't muster it up this year. A rainy day today so I was off to The Poet to work in my booth.....best thing is that almost everything in my booth was a Depot purchase! For those of you that are close and have not been to The Depot you are missing out on some of the BEST PRIMO JUNK around!!!.... JUNK Gals Get your u hauls, trailers what have you and get here, u are really missing out on the loot and it is priced right!!! Oh yes..that mannequin and chair... Depot find. That gorgeous old mannequin was sitting for over 4 days w/ no takers so I gave in to her!! And the chair I had been looking at for over a month then the two paired up perfectly! I don't know what was spilled all over it back in the day but it is too die for 4 sure!!! They are both now at The Poet . (another awesome JUNK stop while you are in NC!)

Well.... I see I was too darn lazy to turn the $$ tag around before I took the darn picture.....usually by the time I get done working the booth, I am a sweaty tired mess so I am not surprised that I missed the tag! Check out the chippy old buggy base, is it cute or what?? Could these have possibly been scored from the Depot?? You need to come out and visit! Look at the colors on the old Gumball machine...chippy Yellow and Turquoise.. it had no key but who cares, right? With paint like that it was a keeper!

My favorite gift of all...one of my dealers at The Depot Ms Susan "Allen" Gibson made me this too die for Feedsack Pillow, customized perfectly. For those of you that are near, you have to get on over and see her pillows. All handmade from old vintage feedsacks, I have never seen any quite like hers.

Right down to her Signature Ella Jane tags, Ms Susan is to perfection with all her details....

~Re-Opening of a Shop & Some Summer Fun!~

Grand Re-Opening of my little spot at The Waxhaw Antique Mart!! I will dig around for the extra time for this little shop right in my home town!! One of the most charming nostaglic places to visit when you are in town!! Ms Betty the owner, a true gem!! When she came a calling that she had a spot for me I could not resist any longer to head on back. For all of you that are local you have to check out the charm this little place has to offer!

For all my regular customers, I am back...... so head on back in for a visit!!

It is still a work in progress but within the next week it should be exploding at the seems with some great JUNK!!

OMG the next project!!! The Yard......this is what has kept me from blogging n a regular basis! We had been a court battle over this house for over 6 LOOONG years, the day we were to pick the Jurors the previous ownwers decided to settle!!! So after 6 years of a yard that has flooded into our foundation and washed half the property away we finally are on the way to fixing her back up!! In the middle of the project we ( really me) decided to have this little project installed...I know the contractors love me!! At some point the pool will be surrounded in stone & beautiful sod grass ( I think I am more excited about pretty grass) to cover the entire front and back of the property!! How redneck does this look?? The Mudd and sand will not keep me from missing the opportunity of a sunny Summer day!! I flip flop it to the edge of the pool to keep the mudd and sand off the toes then hop in. I will post completion pics more than likely to be September!! I have been told that the 2nd worse thing to building a house is having a pool installed..... we have did both and I agree!!!
